According to the Journal of General Internal Medicine, drinking diet soda every day could lead to heart attack and stroke.
In addition, several scientific studies have provided experimental
evidence that soft drinks are directly related to weight gain. The
relationship between soft drink consumption and body weight is so
strong that researchers calculate that for each additional soda
consumed, the risk of obesity increases 1.6 times.
Two of my clients have stated that after giving up soda, they feel
better and have more energy.
The bottom line is this, next time you reach for a soda, switch it
out for a healthy alternative like a glass of water or a small
juice. Your body will thank you!
